Ascent

"Ascent" captures a moment after a summer storm in the mountains, where clouds rise along the slopes like misty phantoms. It was this quiet spectacle, the slow march of the clouds against the green hills, that drew me to paint. This scene is a snapshot of nature's everyday wonders, a reminder of the beauty in the simple upward journey of cloud after rain.
